Every woman has worn that one piece of jewellery she fell in love with and lost faith in, two days later.

A ring that turned green by evening. A chain that itched by noon. Earrings that looked stunning in the store and stayed in a drawer forever after.House of Yakshi was born out of that exact frustration.

I'm Suman Budiya, founder of House of Yakshi — and before this, I spent 5 years in the corporate world after studying at Delhi University. Somewhere between meetings and metro rides, I realised I had never once worn artificial jewellery comfortably. A ring for more than two days? A chain for more than two hours? Never happened. With sensitive skin, every "affordable" or "trendy" piece I tried came with the same trade-off, style now, disappointment soon.And I knew I wasn't the only one.

College students who want to look good every single day but can't spend like it's a special occasion. Corporate women who need jewellery that survives back-to-back meetings, not just a photoshoot. Homemakers who want a little sparkle in daily life without worrying about a rash or a ruined ring within the week.Somewhere along the price spectrum, quality was missing. Somewhere along the quality spectrum, comfort was missing. And somewhere in between, women like us were left settling for less shine, less comfort, or less money in our pockets.

House of Yakshi exists to close that gap.
